The campaign started in Wasilla Alaska on October 23, 2009. There was high hopes that Governor Sarah Palin was going to kick this off by liting the Torch at Wasilla High School. We wanted to have Republicans, Democrats & Independants join together and set an inspirational tone to Americans. The Torch was carrid through Canada and entered the lower 48 States in Maine. The Torch continued through all the NE States and when it arrived in Washington DC, a premolition happened.
